Surveen Chawla is a television actress .She was born in Chandigarh, India. As a small child Surveen wanted to practice in the medicine field. But in the class 12th she took up commerce and she ended her graduating in arts. She went to Government college for Girls in Chandigarh and she left it after her 1st year to move to Mumbai to pursue her career in acting. Her father and brother are businessmen. Her family is settled in Sector 34 in Chandigarh.
Surveen made her first Telefilms serial in the Balaji telefilms serial Kahiin To Hoga. After that she played the role of Kasak in Kasautii Zindagii Kay is an Indian drama series completing 1400 episodes in total. And the she also played the lead role in Kaajjal - Sabkki Aankhon Mein Basi. This was an Indian daily television serial on Sony Entertainment Television India. Survenn was recently seen in the reality dance show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena .This show is directed by suparn verma and this show is released on18th November 2005.In this show she was paired up with Indian cricketer S.Sreesanth. And also she was signed a three film deal with Percept Picture Company. And also she acted in the movies like Paramesha Panwala in the Kannada film released in the year 2008 and in the Hindi movie Carry On Pandu released in the year 2009 and in the same year she performed in the Telugu movie Raju Maharaju
