Since none of Sundar C films did not do well at the box office, he has decided to concentrate in his original field that is direction. Sundar C has directed more than 20 films including Ullathai Allitha, Anbe Sivam, Winner and Giri.
Sundar C has directed leading actors like Kamal, Arjun and Madhavan. He made his debut as hero through the film Thalainagaram. The success of Thalainagaram made him continue to do hero roles.
He did the lead roles in the film Veeraappu, Sandai, Aayudham Sei, Vaada and Guru Shishyan. Some of these films were a hit. But in the recent times most of his films have failed at the box office.
Because of this he has decided to quit acting and has decided to concentrate in his original profession direction. His wife Kushboo has agreed for this decision.
