NEW ACTRESS IN MALAYALAM FILM BEST ACTOR

Popular Kannada actress Shruthi Ramakrishnan, who was the heroine in Prithiya and Police Quarters besides a Tamil movie, will be the lead lady opposite Malayalam superstar Mammootty in his forthcoming Best Actor to be directed by fashion photographer-turned director Martin Prakkat.

Shruthi will play the role of music teacher Savithri, wife of Mohan (Mammootty), a UP school teacher who aspires to be a film actor! Said to be an emotional yet rocking comedy entertainer, Best Actor will be produced by Mammootty's close pals Anto Joseph and Naushad under the banner of Big Screen.

Also in the cast are Lal, Nedumudi Venu, Salim Kumar, Vinayagan and Suraj Venjaranmoodu. Ajay Vincent is the cameraman, Don Max is the editor and Bijibal provides music. Best Actor, distributed by Play House, will be Mammootty’s Ramzan release.
