The history cannot forget the record set by Superstar Rajnikanth’s ‘Chandramukhi’. The film was successful in all the versions. Witnessing the success, P. Vasu made the second part in Kannada as ‘Aaptha Rakshaka’. With the sequel again turning to be a blockbuster, the filmmaker wanted to remake the film with Superstar Rajnikanth in lead role. But Rajnikanth made a different proposal to P. Vasu saying that Ajith Kumar will be more apt for the role. P. Vasu in his recent interview confirmed that Ajith Kumar has watched the Kannada film on request of Rajnikanth. Since he is busy now with his own project and I am working on the same project in Telugu and Tamil movie ‘Puli Vesham’, we are yet to make final decisions.
About Rajnikanth performing guest appearance in this film, P. Vasu said, “I have been hearing such rumors on airs. I believe it would be really superb as it is an excellent idea…”
